Buckle Street Studios emerged in London's Aldgate East in 2021 as part of the Locke hospitality brand's innovative approach to modern accommodation. Designed by architectural firm Grzywinski+Pons, the distinctive terracotta-clad building quickly established itself as an architectural landmark in the East End.

The interiors exemplify the Locke aesthetic - a thoughtful balance of minimalist design with warm, inviting elements. The lobby features polished concrete floors complemented by custom timber furnishings and terrazzo details. Throughout the space, a carefully curated palette of sage greens, dusty pinks, and brass accents creates an atmosphere of sophisticated comfort.

Each studio showcases bespoke, multifunctional furniture designed specifically for the compact spaces, while floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with natural light, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship. The result is a harmonious blend of contemporary design principles and residential comforts that has made Buckle Street Studios a standout example of modern hospitality design in London.
