Five years in the making, and was it ever worth the wait! Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have created their dream home by building something new but with the commitment and dedication to making it look like it was always part of the landscape.

“We wanted the house to look like an old barn, something that had been here for decades that was then converted into a house,” Kutcher told Architectural Digest. “But it also had to feel modern and relevant.”

With the help of Howard Backen of Backen & Gillam Architects and Vicky Charles of Charles & Co. and a plethora of British brands including deVOL kitchens, Perrin & Rowe brassware, Drummonds bathrooms, George Smith sofas and Vaughan and Hector Finch lighting, the project feels very European and completely timeless. And it's eco-credentials are also up to scratch as it is entirely powered by solar panels which are cleverly hidden above the porch. We're sure it's a project that architects and interior designers will reference for many years as a perfect balance of practicality, sustainable design and (not normally a companion for these words) glamour.
